Who we are and how our website works Since Avila Beach, CA is an unincorporated town and has no official governing body, a lot of the businesses and different groups take on the responsibilities around town (like cleaning, maintenance, advertising, etc) We are just a group of locals that live and own businesses in Avila Beach and believe in working as a family to support this amazing town as a year round beach destination. This not only makes us perfect for running tourism website but also enables us to be more personal and share our unique perspective on a place we grew up in. The cost of our website is supported by businesses and ads. Jay Olson and Sleepless Interactive do all the work of building & maintaining the site and managing the advertising. We work just like a chamber of commerce and the local businesses support the costs of advertising each year. Below you will find a list of all our members and supporters.
